Pwede ba maging Lasalyano ang isang Atenista?

kanina nakisit-in ako dun sa s19 class ng FORMDEV.. 

doc sison was discussing about FORMDEV syllabus as well as the Lasallian values and some other things...

aftre some time,bigla niya tinanong...

"Alam niyo ba ang difference ng Lasalista at Lasalyano?"

kayo alam niyo ba?! ahahahaha..

actually ngaun ko lang din nalaman ito..

sabi niya..

"Ang Lasalista ang tawag sa tao na nagaaral sa isang Lasallian school"

"Ang Lasalyano ang tawag sa tao na merong Lasallian values"

oh ok.. :))

actually, lahat ng tao, especially Christians(whether Protestant, Catholic, or others), can be called a "Lasallian" as long as they are doing the Lasallian values of faith, zeal, love for community, and love for the poor...

sabi rin ni doc na marami naman talaga Christian values, but those values are only the "focal point" or the things which are emphasized sa mga Lasallians..

kaya yun tinanong niya rin yung isang student..

"Pwede ba maging Lasallian ang isang Atenista?"

sabi niya rin kasi the motto of Ateneo is "Man for others"..

as you can see the Lasallian value of love for community and the poor also is the same with the "Man for others" motto ng Ateneo..

so therefore, pwede maging Lasalyano ang isang Atenista! ahahahahaha.. :))

what if vice-versa? wahahaha..

so pwede rin tayu tawaging Atenean as long as we also follow the Atenean values?

sa Lasalle..

ang Lasallite.. Lasalista..

ang Lasallian.. Lasalyano..

sa Ateneo isa lang.. 

ang Atenean..Atenista..

sa bagay panget naman pakingan ang "Atenite" o kaya "Atenyano"
