(*this can be found in the latest issue of the LaSallian Menagerie.. February Issue..

Convergence: Tatak Lasalista
Compiled by Ali Caronongan and Kathlyn Ajido

Disclaimer: These responses are the opinions of different people from other educational institutions. Wheter they are true or not is for Lasallians to decide.

COLLEGE STUDENTS:
What comes to mind when the words "DLSU" or "Lasallian" are mentioned? As a student form a different University, what are your impressions/characteristics that you think define a "Lasallian"?

"Lasallians spend extravagantly, maraming brat, and they have good communication skills. When I think of DLSU, Chinese people ang naiisip ko since [i think] Chinese people dominate the DLSU population. The CLA [students] rin are memorable kasi puro kakikayan sila."
- Renwick Cruz,
Materials Science Engineering,
Mapua Institute of Technology

(*yes.. totoo nga na maraming Chinese sa Lasalle, if I'm not mistaken 75% of the Lasallians are Chinese, or me dugong Chinese. :P  Me naalala ako, dapat nung chinese new year walang pasok,eh.. nyahahahaha.. )

"Sosyal, brainy, bossy, hindi problemado sa damit (Fashionista ang dating), Class A people.
-Justine Tere,
Nursing,
University of Perpetual Help-Manila

(*wahahaha kung alam niyo lang.. narinig niyo na ba yung term na "wardrobe crisis"?! as in wala ka na susuotin, kasi lahat nasuot mo na! yan siguro talaga disadvatage ng walang uniform.. :)) )

************************************************************

"Mayaman, English speakers, mayabang, maangas, trained to be managers."
-Jerome Cruz,
Business Management,

Hindi rin lahat ng Lasallians mayaman, and i can really prove that kasi I'm one of them. Also, actually we are not trained to be managers, but the BOSS.. ahahahaha.. nako mayabang nga.. :P )

************************************************************

"I think Lasallians are overworked due to the trimestral system. Maangas sila during UAAP season. They're very forward when it comes to their communication skills."
-Adrian Pamin,
Electronics Engineering,
University of the Philippines-Diliman

*ITO PINAKAMALUPIT...

"All money, less brain."
-Monique de los Reyes
Tourism
University of the Philippines-Diliman

(*isa lang masasabi ko..
MAGTAGO KA NA!
kung sino ka man
wahahahahahaha...
nako hindi ka na sisikatan ng araw.. :P)

  14. Ok, the all money less brain comment made me feel like I wanna rip that person's brain out. Also, that person who said such definitely doesn't know that NOT EVERYONE IN DLSU-M has families that have income like 100,000php a month or stuff like that.. Biro in mo na taga UP pa yan X((

The CLA [students] rin are memorable kasi puro kakikayan sila." = My CLA friends = >:D XD

Ok, as far as everything is concerned those who made comments from the lesser known universities are either jealous or they just really have bad experiences with DLSU students.. jeebus christ.. and to think I'm pretty nice with people from other universities, hope they see better sides of us DLSU students..
