ZTE-NBN Scandal

Kalat na kalat na sa buong pilinas about this issue, actually, at first, i'm not really aware of it. Kasi ba naman hindi8 na ako nanunuod ng tv nowadays, paguwi ko kasi diretso na lang ako sa computer then doing stuff and hindi na rin ako nakakabsa ngaun ng mga newspapers. Anyway, nagtataka nga ako nung una why dlsu people keep posting message sa mga yahoo groups about this issue. Then, when I read the LaSallian recently(DLSU school newspaper), dun ko lang nalaman about what is really happening and yun pala kasangkot nga ang DLSU about this issue. >_<

Anyway, i just want to comment and share my beliefs about this issue. Syempre as a Lasallian and as a citizen of this country, it has an effect, not only to me or my fellow Lasallians, but also to all the citizens of our beloved country.

First, of all, I think religious sectors should not be involved in any political issues.  In the past with what had happen in our country, like the People Power and such, it will not succeed without the help of the religious sectors, the military, the businessmen and ordinary citizens of our country. Pero I think dapat they should be quiet na lang and for me, the thing that they should do is pray to God and ask His guidance and not go to streets and participate in rally or anything else. Kasi if they do that, they are only showing that they do not trust God, so they will use their own ‘power’ to do whatever they want to do. Its is also showing that they do not trust what is God’s will for that certain issue.

Kaso parang contrasting naman ito next sa first na sinabi ko. I think we should always be ready to help other people. I remember, I recently talk to one of my friends and he told me na there are people who ask his help for their problems, kaso ang dami daw niya ginagawa and naiinis na siya kasi parang parati na lang daw sila humihingi ng help sa kanya. I told him that he should be glad and not be angry, kasi at least they are trusting him with their problems. Then I told him that if someone needs help, we should think that it is a privilege, and not a pabigat for you. So therefore, I think the Lasallian brothers did the right thing to do. They only do what they think is the right thing to do which is caring for the Lozada family and giving them protection in LSGH>> La Salle Greenhills. Kasama din pala si Mike Enriquez(a Lasallian alumni) dun sa story, kasi yung isang Lasallian brother ask his help din. Yung nga nakakatuwa sa mga Lasallians, they are really helping people, kasi iniisip ng mga ibang tao, “ah, lasalle.. mayaman.. walang pakilalam sa ibang tao.” I tell you that is not true.

Third, I think that we should not judge people easily and make conclusions right away. Alam niyo, we really don’t know what happen. We don’t know if Mr. Lozada is telling the truth or not, kaya we should not judge him or the other people involved in the issue. Sasabihin ng iba, “hu, bagong pakulo lang yan para mapatalsik si GMA!” or “buti na lang lumabas si Jun para mapakita yung baho ng ating government!” hayyy.. Bakit nandun ba kayu yung nangyari yun?! So, think carefully first, and make sure that you have an evidence, before making any reactions or conclusions, kung hindi kayu din yung mapapahiya.

Fourth, I BELIEVE that we should trust God with what is happening to our country right now. This is only a new test given by God for us Filipinos. This is only a small part of His plan to all of us. We should really believe on Him, because He is the only One who could give a solution to this problem. We should also pray na matapos na agad itong issue na ito. We should not also go to streets and go shouting “patalsikin si Gloria!” but instead pray for His guidance to our country. Naalala ko din nagdedebate ako with one of my highschool friends a long time ago, kasi she believe that we should show what are sentiments are, then I told her why not put your sentiments to God, di ba?! Ano ba mapapala niyo if pumunta kayu sa rallies? Tignan niyo yung nangyari kay Trillanes, o di ba what happen?! Kasi Filipinos do not like chaos anymore, kaya pray na lang kayu and do it in the peaceful way and God will surely bless you… :D

  1. yeah, you're right. andaming tao ngayon who are cursing the government and praising lozada or they criticize lozada's reputation. they shouldn't judge pa talaga, kasi until gloria is proven guilty, she is considered innocent. the same with lozada, until his testimonies are proven to be true, we cannot be sure that he really is speaking the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
BUT, please naman po mr. Lozada, STOP CRYING IN PUBLIC.
di kasi magandang tignan and a lot of people are sayng na that you are gay. so for your sake and ours, save your crying for private use. hehehe.
