The Difference between Christmas and Xmas...

wheee! the time has come.. the time we are waiting for so long.. Christmas!!!

but what really is the difference between Christmas and Xmas..

syempre, you could say, ah, pagnagtetext mas mabilis isulat ang 'X' rather than 'Christ'..

but thinking deeply it really has a great impact..

why is there a Christmas?!

what for you is the meaning of Christmas?!

gift giving, caroling, santa claus, aguinaldo >> aka ninang and ninongs at iba pa?!

 

but hindi mo ba naiisip na without CHRIST, there is no Christmas?

without His birth here on earth, we are not celebrating this yuletide season..

 

so, if you change X rather than Christ,,

its just saying that you are removing Christ as the true meaning of Christmas..

 

i dont know who started using this..

pero sa tingin ko, this person doesn't believe in Jesus..

pde siguro pagan or non christian..

so people will not remember who is the real meaning of this celebration..

di ba X is used as unknown variable..

di ba X is used as crossing something or something you mark as wrong..

 

so dont use Xmas any more..

show other people and remind them that Christ is the main purpose for this celebration..

kahit mas mabilis itext yung X, now use Christ..
