dahil natuwa ako dun sa set ni elaine at ni ricco..
gumawa rin ako ng sarili kong set..
nakakaloko kasi siya talaga..

~handy-dandy remote control(para hindi ko na siya kailangan itimer pa)

Balik Calatagan Immersion 02/21/09

COSCA volunteers and staff immersion at Calatagan, Batangas!
so pumunta kami dun to know the current situation of the Calatagan Farmers..
dati pumunta na sila sa DLSU, and mga first week ng March pupunta ulit sila..
tutuloy nila ang kanilang laban for their lands..
kasama na nila sa ang mga Sumilao farmers at mga farmers from Bicol..

actually wala talaga ako about the full detail of what is happening there..
pero nung nagimmersion kami marami ako nalaman about them..

nakakatuwa yung mainit na pagtanggap nila sa amin
sayang nga kasi konti lang kami
pero yun we have the chance to talk to them
and also they tour us sa lugar nila..
nagkaroon din kami ng chance to ride sa mga bangka nila tapos me pupuntahan sana kami kaso dahil malakas yung alon kaya bumalik na lang kami..

grabe kapagod the whole day..
umalis kami sa lasalle ng 6am tapos nakabalik na kami ng mag1030pm na ata
pero still the day is really worth it.. :)

hindi muna ako magkwento masyado ngayun about the details pero baka sometime gumawa ako ng full blog about them.. :)

nung umaga, nagdadalawang isip ako kung pupunta ba ako sa Formdev outreach sa Damas, sa Talk ni Bro.Ceci, o kaya dito nga sa For-The-Kids evaluation..

sabi ko basta pupunta na lang ako sa skul at bahala na..
paalis na ako nun ng biglang sakto nagtext si ate diane na silang dalawa lang daw ni ate elaine yung volunteer dun sa evaluation.. edi dun na.. :)

tapos COSCA-LOVE Volunteers Kapihan naman sa hapon sa DLSU-PUSO office.. :)

Palace declares Feb 23 holiday for students

MANILA, Philippine - Malacañang on Thursday declared February 23 as a special holiday for all private and public schools to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the 1986 People Power Revolution in EDSA.

A radio report quoted Press Secretary Cerge Remonde as saying that President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo had already signed Proclamation 1728, declaring the holiday on Monday next week.

"The historic event which restored and ushered political, social and economic reforms in the country, serves as an inspiration to Filipinos everywhere as we continue to chart our collective effort as a nation and as a people," the President said in issuing the proclamation.

Remonde said that after reaching a consensus with the Department of Labor and Employment and the labor sector, the President decided to exclude workers from the holiday.

Remonde said some workers, especially those being paid on a daily basis, would rather work on that day to earn extra money. - Mark Merueñas, GMANews.TV

Talk about scandal. This news is blowing out of proportions. Two other teenage boys are now claiming they are the real father of Chantelle's daughter and not the baby-faced Alfie. These teenagers are taking the old Ana-Nicole-Smith-Baby-Battle story to the sewers. I mean, they're only kids!. Come on!!!

After the shocking news broke on Friday, two new teenage boys claimed they slept with Chantelle. Richard Goodsell, 16, claimed that he slept with her about three months before the pregnancy and another boy, Tyler Barker, 14, said he also slept with Chantelle about nine months ago.

There are also claims that Chantelle slept around with EIGHT other boys around the time she got sperminized. There must have been an open-to-all sperm convention going on inside that womb. DAYUM!!! Honey dear, you're not a sperm bank, try not to be one.

umalis kami dito sa manila mga 3:30am
ok naman biyahe sa NLEX
nagstopover pa dun sa Petron to have breakfast
tapos yun pagdating sa Clark mga 5:30.. SUPER TRAFFFFIIIIIICCCCCC!!!!

tuloy hindi na namin naabutan ininflate yung ibang mga balloons..
pero still we took some good shots
or maybe ako lang kasi daw sabi nila enif at ricco hindi daw kaganda shots nila..
siguro masyado lang mababa ang aking level of satisfaction.. :))

ok na yung buong day..
kaso me isang panira talaga ng araw ko..

yun yung beyond the fence, which almost every photogrpaher wants to go kung pwede lang..
me kilala kasi si enif na tagaair force ata tapos tinour kami ng sandali sa air force grounds..

medyo hindi talaga kami nakahanda that day at hindi namin expected na ganun yung mangyayari kaya siguro kaganda shots namin, next year talaga babawi kami..

sandali lang kami dun hangang 11am lang ata tapos umalis na rin kami..
kung hindi talaga nawala cellphone ko baka nagstay pa ako dun ng matagal.
kumain muna kami sa me NLEX tapos derecho sa bahay ni ricco sa San Juan..
tapos derecho na sa LaSalle

paguwi ko rin sa bahay, deretso tulog at nagising na ako ng 6am kinabukasan(Sun).. ahahahahaha.. :))

after ng formdev outreach tuloytuloy photoshoot na..
yung una kala ko hindi ako makakalapit sa stage dahil nilgayan nila ng tali...
kaya tinamad na ako nung una, ang balak ko nga nun umuwi na rin..

pero some time, tinangal din nila and i got a very nice spot sa pinakaharapan ng stage..
ayun nagaddict na naman ako and take pictures till 11pm ng gabi..
actually nga hindi ko na tinapos yung buong concert..
dahil i need to prepare for the hotairballooon photoshoot kinabukasan..

ok its not the pinoy big brothers house sa me QC..
its the Lasalle Brother's House sa 4th floor ng LS building..

actually, its one of the "holy grounds" sa Lasalle..
pero nagkaroon sila ng Open House sponsored by SCA(Student Catholic Action)..

actually, I'm not a Catholic pero nacucurious din talaga ako kung ano buhay ng isang brother..

grabe, super liit lang pala ng kwarto ng bawat brother..
tapos kala ko me special treatment din lalo na kina bro. armin.
pero lahat sila pareparehas lang..

there are some sights na nakakatuwa..
the brothers do play billiards
they also have their own chapel, study room,and even a theater room sa 4th floor..
meron din silang sariling barber shop sa taas.. :))

pero meron din sights na nakakagulat..
yun nga yung maliliit na kwarto nila..
tapos they have a mini gym na treadmill lang ang laman..
they also have a computer room kaso yung computers sobrang luma na ata..
its XP pa rin kaso mas luma pa ata computers dun compared to the old Dell computers na ginagamit dati sa mga comp labs..

kayu na lang tumingin..

and its my FIRST time to donate blood!

sabi ko kasi nung una anemic ako..
pero pagcheck ng hemoglobin ko, its 17.3 ata
eh ang required is 12.5 minimum..
so pwedeng pwede ako magdonate daw..
medyo mataas ata siya compared to others,
kasi yung iba daw 12.8 o kaya 12.5 flat.. :))

ang nakakatakot pa siya katabi ko, i mean siya yung nasa kabilang bed nung nagdodonate ako..
bali sabay kami nagdonate.. :))

eto nakakatawa, kasi nagpaalam yung kasamahan ko sa COSCA kung pwede siya picturan
sabi niya, "Wag na, baka kulamin lang ako ng mga estudyante ko"
tapos bigla sa bi nung nurse, "Siguro terror kayu noh? ano kaya code name niyo?"

Language of Love Concert && Nook 02/11/09

concert again sa amphi..
parang its a cultural festival of different countries..
nagkaroon ng mga performances and poem recitations by foreigners..

wala lang nagtrip lang ulit ako magphotoshoot..
bago challenge kasi kalaban ko naman ngaun red lighting.. haha..

nakakatuwa din yung yunchengco merong green at yellow lighting..
sabi ko kasi hindi na ako ulit magkukuha ng yuchengco building shot kasi ang dami ko na nun.. pero ayun kinunan ko pa rin.. :))

LEAP 2k9: Fun with Ice 02/10/09

leap class ko ice skating sa may MOA organized by LSCS..

wala ako masyado pics nung mismong leap kasi natatakot ako madulas at masira yung camera ko, sigurado iiyak ako nun if ever..
kaya puro before and after leap pics lang nandito

nakakatuwa siya sobra..
2nd time ko lang to ice skate..
medyo nakukuha ko siya konti, kailangan lang talaga ng practice..

actually, hangang 12 lang yung leap
kumain muna kami at nagphotoshoot nung tred4 video nina kuya sol
tapos laro sa me powerzone..

eh, ako gusto ko sulitin yung unlimited day pass ng ice skating kaya bumalik ako ng mga 430-6pm sa ice skating rink kahit ako lang magisa at walang kilalang ibang tao.. hehe.. :))

nako konti na lang, makikita niyo rin..
ako na isa sa magkakaskas ng yelo habang nagice skate (*pwde na pang halo-halo yun! jokes :P)

Forever Yours Concert 02/09/09

galing talaga ni laarni.. idol! *bows down*

yung una iniisip klo ako lang manunuod ng magisa, tapos nakita ko si MC sabi niya manuod din daw siya, tapos bigla nandyan si Patrick, tapos mga CT people..
spotted some CCS people dun, and also mga tagaCCC and COSCA..

yung una kala namin hidi rin pwede umupo sa me grass kaya tuloy suko na ako kasi hindi talaga kaya ng kit lens yung layo from the stage hangang dun sa me upuan..
tapos yung biglang inannounce na pwede umupo sa grass, takbo naman kami bigla..

yung first part ng pictures ko are not really good... SOBRA.. @_@
pero after some time i got the right level of exposure..
i have some really nice shots of the Innersoul people..
(*grabe, ang cute pala yung mga taga-innersoul pagmalapitan.. :P)

kaso problema pa rin yung lighting ko..
kasi paibaiba siya, magigigng red, super liwanag yellow, tapos maya green..
tapos ang nakakainis pa mali yung angle at positioning nung mga backlights, puro against the light yung mga ligtning niya kaya puro me lens flare yung shots ko..
pero nabawasan na rin ng kahit konti yung flare ng dahil sa UV filter ko.. hehe..

after ng concert, sakto nawalan ako ng battery.. saktong sakto talaga kung kelan natapos..
me hinarana pa nga sila isang babae eh, sayang hindi ko na nakunan.. ahahaha..

anyway, congrats ulit sa buong chamber ensemble!
it was a nice evening.. :D

Anyway, marami siguro nagtataka sa inyo kung sino nga ba ka-IBIG-an o yung 'minamahal' ko. Naalala ko tuloy dati sabi nila Ian, naguusap daw sila ng blockmates ko, tapos ako lang yata kasi sa block namin yung hindi nila nauuto sa mga babae. I also remember one of my friends dati sinabihan na "TORPE" daw ako. wahahahaha.. babae yung nagsabi nun ah.. sabi pa niya, "kung hindi ka torpe siguro bakla ka?!" nyek.. @_@ (*by the way, yung nagsabi nun me anak na yun.. :P)

Definitely hindi ako bading.. (*tuwing madaling araw lang.. jokes.. ay FAFA.. :) Hindi rin naman din ako takot magmahal. Torpe?! Pwede.. ahahahaha.. :))

For the first time in history, ngaun lang talaga ako magshashare nito.. iniisip ko kasi baka makatulong din sa inyo itong kahit konti lang. Para mapatunayan ko na hindi ako bading, takot at TORPE, here is my 10 reasons why im still single.. parang mga guidelines and standards na ginawa ko para sa sarili ko..
 

1. "DAPAT Christian" Rule
-kaya exclusively for christians itong post ko, kasi pagnabasa ng mga non-christians, baka magcomment pa sila nung kung ano ano..

ok, back to topic..
so i have this rule in myself na "dapat christian SIYA"

siguro narinig niyo na yung 2 Cor 6:14
"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?"

ok lang naman siguro na friends mo ay non-Christians, pero pagboyfriend-girlfriend relationship, ibang usapan na yun. Iba kasi talaga pagChristian yung mapapangasawa mo, hahaba pa itong blog ko paginexplain ko pa kung bakit Christian dapat..

Honestly, i have some "prospect" list na pinagpraypray ko.. hehe.. syempre lahat yun Christians.. pero its still not the right time pa rin,eh..


2. "DAPAT Friends muna"
-yun nga una dapat christian, pero sunod DAPAT friends muna. Iba rin talaga pagkilala mo yung isang person ng matagal, mas nakikilala mo yung isang person ng mas mabuti. I remember reading a material about christian dating, sabi mas maganda nga daw na at least 3-7 years kayu magkakilala, before maging "kayu". Friends na lang muna, mas makakabuti yun sa inyong dalawa.


3."BUSY sa school"
-oh well, reason ng maraming tao, kundi school, trabaho. Pero totoo naman talaga,eh. Ewan ko, ito yung thinking ko, mas maganda na nakafocus ka sa isang bagay rather than doing and focusing yourself into two things at the same time. Pagaaral muna bago pagmamahal?!


4. "AFTER COLLEGE na"
-ito siguro yung isa sa pinakamalupit ko na dahilan kung bakit single pa rin ako..

ganito kasi ideology ko.. this is applicable especially sa mga BOYS diyan..
"DAPAT AFTER COLLEGE na lang, pag ME TRABAHO ka na"

kasi yung iniisip ko ganito, ang PANGET kasi makita na yung ginagamit mo na PERA na PANGDATE mo is yung pera ng tatay o kaya nanay mo. Di ba mas maganda kapag yung pera ng pinangdadate mo sa GF mo is yung SARILI mong pera. In that way, masasabi mo na rin na medyo independent ka na rin from your parents. gets you ba?! ahahahaha.. :))


5. "AYOKO NAGMAMADALI"
-yun nga ayoko nagmamadali, sabi nga ni kuya Jder, "ONE STEP AT A TIME". Kasi pagnagmadali ka, parang nauuna yung feelings at emotions mo na hindi mo na siya naiisip pa. Tapos yun nga hindi pala will ni God sa iyo yun, then it will lead to INFATUATION.

What is infatuation? Ayon sa Wikipedia, <Infatuation is the state of being completely carried away by unreasoned passion or love; addictive love. Usually one is inspired with an intense but short-lived passion or admiration for someone.> Infatuation == LUST. o kaya paminsan naiingit ka lang kasi yung mga ibang tao me boyfriend o girlfriend, tapos ikaw wala, so OP ka bigla. tsk tsk..


6."1st GF == my WIFE" thinking
-dahil ayoko ko nga magmadali, gusto ko talaga sure shot ako. Gusto ko yung unang girlfriend ko will be my wife. In that way, siguro i can say to myself and prove that she is really the ONE God has planned for me. Medyo parang imposible kung iisipin, pero its one of the challenges i need to face, kayang kaya yun with God's help.. hehe..


7."I dont know how to express my feelings"
-ito talaga yung nahihirapan ako sa sarili ko. Kasi there are times na me gusto ako sabihin, pero hindi ko masabi. Siguro mga simpleng examples, gusto ko magrecite sa class, pero hindi ko magawa kasi nasa dulo na lang siya ng dila ko at hindi ko masabi. There are times naman na ang ingayingay ko, pero paminsan super tahimik naman. Pagnanagagalit din ako kinikimkim ko lang tapos biglang lalabas. Basta marami pang ibang mga situations, ang weirdo ko talaga, ako nga si LABOH..


8. "I dont know how to MAKE LIGAW" (*conyo?! ahahahaha)
-marami naman siguro nakakalam sa inyo na i was homeschooled since grade 5 to 4th year highschool.. kaya i spent my whole 6-7 years sa loob ng bahay. again, hindi ako loner at emo.. sinasabi kasi ng mga tao paghomeschool ka,wala ka social life. Pero in my case i still have friends at church dati kaya hindi ako loner. Hindi ko alam kung disadvantage nga ba siya sa akin, pero siguro nga kung hindi ako homeschool, nako, ITS OVER.. iniisip ko na lang na advantage yun para sa akin.


9. "AYAW ng PARENTS"
-isa rin sa mga common na dahilan ng mga tao ngaun. Yung mama ko nga medyo nagiging suspicious sa akin, sasabihin niya, "Bakit late ka na palagi umuuwi, siguro nanliligaw ka na noh?!" o kaya pagme kausap ako sa phone ng matagal, sasabihin niya, "Bakit ang tagal tagal niyo magusap, naglilgawan lang kayu eh?!" errrr.. hello?! O_o

pero syempre Ephesians 6:1 pa rin, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is RIGHT"..


10. "AYOKO PA"
-ok last reason ko bakit ako single, eh kasi ako mismo "ayoko pa". Kung yung mama ko ayaw ako magkaroon ng GF, eh mas lalo ako "AYOKO PA". hindi ko alam kung sadyang manhid lang ako o something, kahit alam ko na nandyan lang 'siya' sa tabitabi.

sa totoo nga, hindi naman sa pagmamayabang, pero siguro kung gusto ko talaga magkaroon ng GF, siguro meron na ako ngaun. At siguro naman kahit magkaroon din ako, parang feeling ko wala na rin magagawa parents ko nun if ever..

pero yun nga hindi pa siguro talaga ako ready to enter into a relationship or siguro sadyang wala pa yun sa isip ko, o kaya yun nga nandyan lang siya, pero hindi ko nakikita..



hayyyyy...
 

basta isa lang talaga masasabi ko..

actually, naki"epal" lang ako dun kasi hindi naman ako faci dun sa mga classes na yun.. ahahahaha *nakiepal==term ni mike :))

ok naman nung umaga, medyo umaambon ng konti..
tapos biglang mag"sundance" yung mga students para daw mawala yung ulan.. wahahaha.. effective!

kaso nung naglunch break na kami sakto, bigla ng umulan na ng malakas

pumunta sa iskul ng umaga to take pictures around sa lasalle para sa isphoto brochure exercise namin..
bali kukuha kami ng mga lugars around lasalle at kunwari gagawa kami ng brochure ng lasalle..

kaso hindi malinaw yung mga instructions..
kasi ang kailangan.. ISO na 100 or 200.. tapos 50mm focal length, hindi pwede zoom in at out.. tapos manual mode.. tapos manual focusing..
ang pinakamalupit kailangan 10 shots lang gagamitin mo, parang sa film, bawal ulit.. @_@

ang nakakainis pa, katulad sa swimming pool at si library, pinagalitan kami nung mga tao dun kasi kailangan pa daw ng permit sa PFO para magtake ng pictures..

eh, ayun hindi nga malinaw yung instructions ginawa ko puro 18mm na focal length, kaya tuloy kailangan ko kumuha ng 2nd set ng mga pics.. O_o
pero wala rin,tinamd na lang din kami lahat..

for the first time, nakalimutan ko dalhin yung SD card ko..
buti na lang me dala ako na MMC(Multi-media card) na 16MB lang, yun yung ginamit ko...

natuwa ako dun sa blue/pink sky..
naalala ko yung Mac wallpaper nina ac at mc... :))
