Joy, excitement, and hope can be seen through the faces of these youth from different ethnic groups throughout the Philippines as they graduate at the PAMULAAN-Center for Indigenous People’s Education, the first ever college made specifically for the Indigenous people not only in the Philippines, but in the whole Asia.

The Pamulaan-Center for Indigenous People’s Education is located at Mintal, Davao City, Philippines which was started by 2004 Ramon Magsaysay Awardee for Emergent Leadership, Benjamin Abadiano.

anyway, last tours for Baguio Tam-Awan Village + Strawberry Field (2 pics lang, kasi hindi kami nagshoot, NAMILI.. hahahaha)

Panagbenga Festival Float Parade 02/28/10

panagbenga(flower) festival ulit.. this time float parade naman..

sandali lang kami dun kaya konti lang yung shots, tapos ang nakakainis pa mali yung direction ng light dun sa direction nung galawa ng floats, puro against the light kaya need to use my flash.. @_@ hahahaha

*me dalawang singit pala na shots sa una, mga early morning shots dun sa bahay nung co-photographer namin (cherry!) kung saan kami nagstay for the night..

Baguio Media Museum & Animation Studio 02/27/10

after the T-bone + mines view tour.. Baguio Media Museum naman..

owned by Mr. Art Tibaldo( http://artibaldo.multiply.com ), merong siyang mga collections ng ibat ibang stuffs like old cameras, videos, mga computer stuffs, and a lot more things especially those things that has something to do with media and communication

meron din siyang mini studio dun for recording both audio and video.. ang cool sobra.. para nga siyang merong sariling radio station dun *actually bahay niya sa baba.. ang cool nga sa baguio, yung first floor ng bahay dun is usually the top floor ng bahay nila, hahaha.. baliktad..

The Philippine Starball 02/13/10

this was my first official shoot dun sa company ko..

at ito yung pinakamalala kong shoot EVER it terms of shutter actuations + tagal nung shoot + pay.. as in 3k++ pics in just one day @_@ as in from 7am-2am ng madaling araw (*7am ng feb 13- 2am ng feb 14) tapos binigyan lang ako nung P500 nung una.. T_T

honestly, inayakan ko yun literally paguwi ko sa sama ng loob, buti na lang kinulit ko kaya my boss added plus 500, which is lugi pa rin.. ok lang siguro dahil experience, pero super kawawa yung d40 ko after, as in nagiba yung tunog ng shutter simula noon hangang ngayon

anyway, the phillipine starball is a competition of different ballroom dancing styles with different categories, mula sa mga bata, mga teens, hanggang sa mga older ones, meron ding participants from different countries..

sa me Edsa Shangrila Hotel nga pala ito.. :D
