Sagip Metro Relief Drive Day2 & Tatalon Relief Operation 09/29/09

day 2 of Sagip Metro relief Drive for Typhoon Ondoy victims..

as we expected..
more volunteers and more donations came up earlier..

me, ate terts, and 3 graduate studies students from bangladesh and 1 from lspo came to give 300 packs of relief goods to the people who live in tatalon, quezon city, where it flooded up to the 2 floor of their houses, grabe, their houses were totally wrecked..

Sagip Metro Relief Drive & PROVIDENT VILLAGE 09/28/09

kahit walang pasok, lasallians still went to school to help in the replief drive for tthose who were affected by Typhoon Ondoy..

hinati hati sa ibat ibang groups yun mga student volunteers..
meron packing, meron call center agents, nagiikot around taft area soliciting for goods, meron din sa deployment mismo ng goods..





kami we went to harrison plaza to post posters around establishments to bring their donations to dlsu..
*ang kulit nga kasi me escort pa kami ng guards galing sa harrison plaza..





nagkaroon din ng emergency meeting nung bandang hapon to discuss ano mga specific na gagawin sa mga goods..


tapos sunod sunod na yung dating ng goods bandang hapon..

me isang truck ng instant noodles ang dumating..


mga food at clothings at kung ano ano pa..




natuwa lang talaga ako, kasi lahat ng lasallians sama-sama na tumutulong..



PROVIDENT VILLAGE....
cosca volunteers are also assigned to deliver the goods in different locations..

yung una, sa antipolo dapat kami,
tapos nilipat sa san mateo,
tapos eventually we went to PROVIDENT VILLAGE sa Marikina to deliver some goods sa isang orphanage na partner organization ng DLSU...
*yes, kung saan maraming namatay at kung saan nakatira si Cristine Reyes..

grabe, Marikina is totally wasted..




we also saw Bayani Fernando sa me Marikina River, kaso tangengot ko, tinted pala yung kotse namin.. *ayun sa gitna.. wahahahaha..


grabe super traffic, we arrived ther mga 6pm na ata..
hindi na rin kami nakapasok sa orphanage sa loob ng provident kasi super putik.. kaya dun lang kami sa bandang labas..

we also saw julius babao at tintin versola(tama ba spelling?) hahahaha




dapat me pupuntahan pa kami isa pang location kaso gabi na kaya balik na kami sa lasalle, then meeting with bro.armin


SAGIP METRO relief drive will still continue to accept donations throughout the week.. please drop your donations in Lasalle-Taft-South Gate(near mcdo-lasalle).. Medicines, food, toiletries, beddings, clothing and others including cash and cheque donations are also accepted. Ondoy sa Lasalle - Day2 09/27/09

day2 ng survival mode sa lasalle.. wahahaha..

ok natulog kami sa me animo canteen by 11pm kasi mabait kami na bata..
i woke up by somewhat 4:45am..

so photojournalist mode ulet... *shooting people sleeping*

rock-a-bye-baby..


ang cheesy talaga nito.. promise..


ito hindi ko alam kung nagprapray or natutulog..


sige tulog lang..



anyway, bandang 7am, namigay naman sila ng breakfast..
pili kayo, rice w/ hotdog or ham sandwich.. :D


na niluto nina ate ems..


na dineliver ng mga taga SC-opres na nakatrike.. hahaha



actually, medyo humupa na rin yung baha nung bandang umaga..


compared to this one nung kahapon..




umikot ikot ako mukhang marami ata nasira..
for example itong bench sa sj..


nagstart na rin sila maglinis agad.. sipag talaga diars sa lasalle..




me napansin din ako..
ang DAMI pa lang UOD sa lasalle.. @_@
as in nagkalat sila sa buong amphi..


at marami rin pang nagkalat na kung ano ano.. hahaha.. *ok weird



by the way, sa mga nagaalala kung ano nangyari sa pagong dun sa amphi..
eto siya..
(balita ko nga, sabi nung janitor, nakita daw ata nila yung pagong dun sa pond pa rin after ng baha.. as in hindi ata siya umalis dun, or kung umalis siya siguro bumalik siya dun.. hahahaha)



anyway,kung gusto ng mga tao umalis, kailangan me pass ka at pasign mo sa mga coordinators.. sa akin pinasign ko kay bro armin.. wahahaha.. me autograph ako ni bro armin.. *ok babaw ko..




kami rin yung huling umalis sa lasalle, so papicture muna kami(the last survivors) with bro.armin..


ang kulet din ni bro.armin, sabi niya wag daw kami magsmile para kunwari mga nasalanta daw kami ng bagyo, pero siya naman ito nagsmile.. wahahaha

*yung pinakita ko sa kanya yung pic galing sa cam ko, sabi niya, "ay seryoso pala kayu dun na dapat malungkot" .. ok? hahahahaha..
